We are at 946 Highway 51 South in Brookhaven, MS — about 5 minutes south of downtown. Pickup takes place at the farm; exact gate directions are in your confirmation email.

Fresh, never-frozen chicken should be cooked or frozen within 2 days of pickup. Properly wrapped in the freezer it keeps up to 12 months with no quality loss.

Remove from the bag, pat dry, then double-wrap in plastic wrap followed by a freezer bag with the air pressed out. Label with the date. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight — never on the counter.

Roast at 425°F (220°C) for roughly 15 minutes per pound, or until the thickest part of the thigh reads 165°F. Because our birds are leaner than grocery-store chickens, basting with butter or olive oil keeps the breast moist. Rest for 10 minutes before carving.

Every bird spends its life on open grass and is moved to fresh ground daily using a chicken tractor. They eat what chickens naturally eat — grass, bugs, seeds — plus a non-GMO grain supplement. No hormones, no antibiotics, no crowded barns.

Cancel 7 or more days before the pickup window for a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations inside 7 days are handled case-by-case; if we can reassign your share we will refund you in full. No-shows without notice forfeit their deposit.
